This was my first short film that I got to edit, it was shot on 35 MM (real film not digital!) and what a growing process it was! All I had to edit with was my little old mac notebook stacked on top of books to help with hunching over, and my little mouse. Rendering took more than eight hours and exporting went over night as well, but after a couple months of only working weekends on this beast we got it done!
Working with Jonathan Fung was and always is a pleasure, he gave me a lot of freedom as well as a lot of guidance. A perfect balance I would have to say.
Not only did I get to enjoy the Post process but I was slightly involved in part of the production process as well! Well kinda...I just opened up my apartment for them to shoot at for a few of the scenes. So technically I did nothing but sit around and then go to sleep while they were still working hard into the wee hours of the night (3 a.m I believe) but that alone was tiring!
